S Borg & Sons Ltd, operators of Park Towers Supermarkets, opened their first outlet in May 1995 at The Mall, George Borg Olivier Street, and St Julian’s. Mr John Borg and his brother Mr Chris Borg are not new to this line of business; as their father Mr Salvu Borg was a co-founder of the first Supermarket on the island (Tower Self Service Store) in Tower Road, Sliema in the early 1960's.

Park Towers Supermarket has built a reputation for quality and great service and this is evident by looking at the growth of their business over the years. At ‘The Mall’ in St Julian’s the original layout was that of 200m2, and over the years there was a number of expansions at this outlet to help better serve their clientele and to continue ensuring that they could supply the widest choice at the best prices.

This outlet now has a layout of 1100m2 spread out over two floors with a modern frozen foods section, large dairy section, cheese and deli section, a bakery section and a butcher area. Due to the ever growing customer base of satisfied clients, in 2005 the company decided to further its investment and open another outlet in St Venera. This outlet was the epitome of modern shopping, with a layout of 2800m2 on three levels, and an accompanying 110 space car park facility.
